Basically this book is organized to allow you to mix and match crust styles with quiche fillings. By doing it this way, you’re presented with a much larger variety of options when using this book to make a quiche. You first choose your quiche filling and pair that up with either the recommendation for crust in the recipe or mix it up a different way. This way you are actually presented with 26 fillings and seven crusts for a combined total of 182 different quiche recipes. But in reality, I don’t have any hope that you would try to cook them all.
They all have one thing in common. You’ve got to have a basic egg and milk mixture to start with. For our purposes, we’ll call this the Quiche Base Mix.
